The EvaluNet Sweet Valley Primary Readathon ended off as a big success with over R50,000 in funds raised by learners. The school, situated in Bergvliet, used the Readathon as an opportunity to raise funds to build a swimming pool due for completion early next year.

EvaluNet sponsored top prizes to the learners who read the most in each grade. Each winner received a GetAhead software package for the grade they are currently completing now, and will receive the consecutive GetAhead package each year until they finish grade 12.

The winners
The top readers in grades 1 - 3 respectively were Spencer Luck, Claire Rankin and Emma Tinney.

The top readers in grades 4 - 7 featured above with EvaluNet PRO Adrian Marnewick were Jason Bright (4), Sarah McEwan (5), Daniel Lightly (6) and Jessica du Toit (7).
